Ah… remembering the days when I worked in this building as an assistant DA in the early 80’s. Sorry to see it go! Many good memories such as getting to work early one morning and pushing in the lock button on numerous misdemeanor file drawers that contained all the docket cases. Little did I know that there were NO keys to open up the drawers. Needless to say, there were some pissed off DA’s who couldn’t pull their files for the morning docket. The statute of limitations for apologies for this offense is 35 years – so, I AM SORRY!!
